The Burkhard Personal Volumetric Air Sampler is designed for short-term sampling where electrical power is not available. The Personal Model is ruggedly built from high-grade aluminum and plastic for use indoors or out, yet it is still very portable, weighing less than 1.5lbs. Airborne particles are collected directly on a standard 3" x 1" (76 x 26 mm) glass slide, which is inserted into the top assembly and locked into place. Audio and visual indicators conveniently prompt the operator when sampling begins and ends. In addition to the standard configuration (battery operated), it is also available without the rechargeable battery assembly for applications that require continuous operation.
